Maine’s 340B-eligible hospitals provide medical care 24-hours per day, 365-days per year.  They are all non-profit and provide tens of millions in free care to Maine people.  Maine hospitals provide the full range of services from primary care to emergency surgery.  Hundreds of thousands of Mainers visit hospitals and hospital clinics millions of times per year and all are treated, regardless of ability to pay.
