With savings from the 340B Program we have been able to invest in and sustain services that are vital to our patient population. Having access to specialty care can be extremely difficult for those who live in rural Maine. Our ability to offer accessible and affordable podiatry services to our patient population has allowed many to find relief from pain and chronic conditions and regain the ability to engage in daily life. Additionally, 340B helps support our dental program. There is an immense need across the state for providers who accept MaineCare. Our Lincoln location offers a full range of services, from cleanings and fillings to root canals and crowns. By utilizing the 340B Program we are able to support our sliding fee scale and help patients deal with reimbursement variances between insurance programs, both private and public.
