The 340B program plays an essential role in ensuring access to care at Sacopee Valley Health Center, allowing patients to receive affordable healthcare in the community where they live. With the support of the 340B program, we can assign additional resources towards our outreach & enrollment workforce, ensuring that patients have support navigating the health care system.
Outreach and Enrollment Specialists help clients access healthcare by connecting them with or guiding them through the application process for Sacopee Valley Health Center’s Fee Discount Program, Health Insurance Marketplace, Medicare, MaineCare, Veteran’s Benefits, and Social Security. They assist clients in applying for free care programs that provide discounts on hospital and specialist services. Other assistance includes connecting clients to resources throughout the community by accessing programs for food, transportation, housing, heating assistance, and many others. This is an essential service for our community members.
